Why HBOTT, not HBOT?
The traditional acronym HBOT (HyperBaric Oxygen Therapy) describes the mechanism — pressurized oxygen in a chamber. But a mechanism alone is not a protocol.
HBOTT — HyperBaric Oxygen: the first T for Therapy, the second T for Treatment — adds the second “T” to represent the synergistic system: a structured, condition-specific Treatment plan combined with an ongoing Therapy framework. It is recovery engineered as a system, not a single session.
Powered by Henry's Law — the physiological principle that increased atmospheric pressure drives dissolved oxygen into blood plasma at concentrations far above sea level — HBOTT supports angiogenesis, mitochondrial ATP production, neuro-oxygenation, and anti-inflammatory cascades in hypoxic tissue.
